And they are pretty darn cool.
Again, AI was not used to write, research, edit, or create any part of Project Sidekick. But… I did ask it to make me some cool pictures for this blog.
This time I ran into a small snag. Co-Pilot will not depict images of people restrained or in excessive distress. I asked AI to draw a picture of a crooked businessman hanging up-side-down from a city lamp post. In the book, The Chameleon does this to corrupted city officials and cops and writes the name of their crime on a sign he tapes to their chest. In one scene, a city councilman is captured by the Chameleon and tied to a lamp post with a sign reading “Molester” taped to his chest. Well, AI just wouldn’t do that… and I suppose with good reason. There are some people far weirder than me in this world.
Well, enjoy! And don’t forget the book signing event on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Franklin Event Center, 4801 Franklin Ave, Des Moines, IA.
